Swelterin'

A STORY THROUGH PICTURES

WOW that's cold.

Proverbs 31:6 - Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

That is a Guinness Tulip Pint that would've been delivered to my house if I didn't work . A short drive over to the UPS counter would rectify that. It pours perfect, and is beautiful. Thanks again, Pear. Next round's on me. And no, I won't get you the Natural Light Pint glass. Or this Grey Kangaroo liquor filter. Well...

WOW, it was hot today. I want to say it got up to 95, if it didn't reach there, it was not far off. And this is the first drink of the day. And the air conditioner is playing the banjo right now. It's going to take forever for it to get down to 70-something degrees.

Not that I'm complaining, because I'm not. It's better than a snowstorm any day of the week.

WHAT'S BIG

Another contest, another win for Pat Bertoletti. Bertoletti consumed over fifteen pounds of strawberry shortcake over the weekend en route to victory in Mattituck, NY. Eater X placed second, and Crazy Legs was third.

Nathan's Famous Qualifiers are coming up this weekend in New Jersey, Atlanta, and San Francisco, followed by Shoo-Fly Pie and delicious Pig's feet at Giant's Stadium. Mmmmm...

AND

I would so eat that.

FINALLY

I don't care if it's old, it's hysterical.

Take 'er easy.
